Comment: It's a fine book if you really are nervous about your first, but if you already have one much of the text will be unnecessary.

It does tell you about looking for a shop and how to compare artists on more than just price. Plus, it gently reminds you to really consider a tattoos permanence.

It's nice to know some history and symbolism before you place it on yourself for good. The author has good insights and a few illustrations. This is not a picture book.
